update to my life

I've been way too busy to keep up with my socializing lately. Finally getting time to start up again. Cats, children, gingerbread men and waffles. On to online office tools! Have signed up for all - now just need to try to use them. Meanwhile Rachel Ray is cooking, the circus is coming and Santa has given out all his candy canes. Hope all had a great year!

Library Thing

Okay I've done it!!! With lots of help from my coworker and setting up a new password for blogger (since I must have forgotten it once again) I finally have put Library Thing on my Blog. It seems like it will be a great addition, as soon as I can find a few moments to add to it! On to the Next thing!!

RSS Feeds

I ended up using googlereader as Bloglines kept telling me to verify by answering my email but I never received the email, even checked my junk mail. Googlereader fairly easy - tried thier feed bundles to start but have been adding more. Have also added my blog to my igoogle page which is what I like to use.

Okay, I think I finally figured out how to put a link on my blog. I used flickr to showcase my cats but I could see the library using it to add pictures to the poetry blogs we are starting to have with teens! It might be fun to see how they could enhance their poetry using photos.

I've been learning to use Skype lately - using the webcam and talking to members of my family. I have a son moving to Thailand in a few weeks - has anyone else been there that can tell me about it.

Daily life
